Another sweet Day to Remember

In 2004, my grandson, Gaege was going to be riding with my daughter in law, Lisa on the YMCA Float in the Boro's Christmas Parade.  Hugh, Louis and I decided to be the Secret Service and try to keep up with Dad who was determined to get to the Parade from his home on Church Street in his electric motor chair.  So we ran along side of him and had a great day at the parade!  Dad always liked being where the action was!!  If I remember right, it was hard to keep up with him.  So many sweet moments with my Dad to remember!!!!                                            

Christmas combined with my Boys Birthdays

 Sometime, with out of town children, you have to combined celebrations.  So on Saturday after Christmas, we were able to all be together for Christmas!  My boys, have December Birthdays so we combined them with Christmas and had a wonderful get together.  Then on New years eve, we went to Nashville airport to watch Gaege and Kyle open there Christmas presents from Lulu and Julu.  Flights lessons were a big hit and that afternoon, gun lessons from our own distinguished, expert marksman, Chad.  Gaege's good friend, Jackson, was in all all the happenings!

Happy Birthday, Rob!!

Sometimes you just want to say Happy Birthday in a special way.  Rob, my handsome and unique son is one that keeps us on our toes.  His style and humor is always our joy and blessings.  We love you, Rob .

A Moment I Will Cherish

There are some moments in life that are so full of meaning and this was definitely one I will have in my treasured moments to always remember.  The moment I had planed and dreamed of for my precious daughter, Abby.  One last hug as my little girl, then I gave her away to the man of her dreams.  Bitter sweet, but just as it should be.  I am so thrilled that in God's perfect timing, this moment came!!

A few days in the Mountains

Louis and I took off to the hills to clear our brain of wedding detail     

  Instead, we got saddle sores, fell in ground hog hole and stalked by the Paparazzi!  { Inside Joke}

 After falling into  the ground hog hole, I decided to play Indians and play dead on picnic quilt to rest my aching foot while Louis checked out the cabin in the woods.

 We stopped at this wonderful old church to count our blessing, pray for the election, our country, our family, and for Nate and Abby's upcoming wedding.

 The leaves and views going up the mountain were spectacular and the week end gave us a sense of how small we are in the scheme of things.  What a vast and wonderful God we serve!!!

A beautiful Bridal Tea !!

Some times you can't believe what you see!! Sunday was one of those days when a group of wonderful friends gave my daughter, Abby a beautiful Bridal Tea.  There was no detail forgotten.  You will notice that from some of the pictures posted here.  The delicious and beautiful cakes, and wonderful hors· d'oeuvre

   graced the cake center piece  arrangement that was a true work of art made from flowers!  Thank you family and friends for your presence and the beautiful gifts.  A very special thank you to Judy, Leslie, Paula, Peggy, Sandra and Linda for all you did to make this so special.
