Monday night was a surprise visit from Aunt Geraldine and Mom. Louis was the entertainment and Geraldine made a delicious dinner. As in years gone by, Aunt Geraldine has been right there in all the big events in my life and willing to pitched in on whatever needed to be done. She and Mom are the best of Southern cooks. Thank you for your help.
Friday, was a special day for me. I was asked to come to Abby's classroom and teach her 19 pupils about their teeth since it is Dental Health month. I have done this many times, but this had to be the most memorable. My daughter was the student teacher for Mrs. Young and what an impressive group of 8 year old's they have. Your doing a great job, Abby. I am so proud of you!!!
My right hand man and I made a big country lunch, this morning, for Chad, Kyle and Gaege. The boys and I climb the hill and walked and talked while Louis and Chad enjoyed a fireside chat. Whether it is 2 hours or 2 weeks it is always good to have your children come home.
Today, My long time friend and co hort, came to installed the stain glass she had made for the front door. Her husband, John, led the installation with their wonderful son, John.
The windows are simply beautiful and will be a true joy to enjoy their beauty each day. Thank you, Sandra, Johnny and John.
Thank you Mom, for taking such good care of Allie for 6 months. Louis and I brought her home and she is adjusting to her new surroundings, except for the fact we are surrounded with dirt {or mud} and she is use to a grassy area. This has presented a problem, but you know it's home when your dog is laying at your feet.
