The Uncle's 80th Birthday Celebration!

June the 8th was a wonderful day at Springland!  The Uncle, was surprised with a celebration complete with  family, friends from the past, original poems, terrific and sincere roast and stories from the past, singing, a terrific fireworks display, money tree and lots of chicken curry casserole !  Uncle Ken, we all hope you were showered with love and appreciation of all that you have meant to each one of us.  Without your effect on our lives we would not be the special and unique family we are.  We all love you and thank you for enriching the Floyd, Patton, Harvey, Dorris, Kopp, and Booth families!  Your life has touched our lives in so many ways and we are so grateful and blessed to call you father, brother, Uncle and friend!  We thank God for your life and all that you mean to us all!!

Evening with The Uncle!

Louis and I took Mom to Uncle Ken's last night for a sleep over.  I can see why she enjoys going so much.  She is treated like a Queen!  These pictures will show the wonderful dinner Steve prepared for us and the special dessert for the Queen and her subjects.  I had the opportunity to record many stories of the past and will cherish this lovely evening.  Thank you Uncle and Steve for such a special time!

Another sweet Day to Remember

In 2004, my grandson, Gaege was going to be riding with my daughter in law, Lisa on the YMCA Float in the Boro's Christmas Parade.  Hugh, Louis and I decided to be the Secret Service and try to keep up with Dad who was determined to get to the Parade from his home on Church Street in his electric motor chair.  So we ran along side of him and had a great day at the parade!  Dad always liked being where the action was!!  If I remember right, it was hard to keep up with him.  So many sweet moments with my Dad to remember!!!!

Christmas combined with my Boys Birthdays

Sometime, with out of town children, you have to combined celebrations.  So on Saturday after Christmas, we were able to all be together for Christmas!  My boys, have December Birthdays so we combined them with Christmas and had a wonderful get together.  Then on New years eve, we went to Nashville airport to watch Gaege and Kyle open there Christmas presents from Lulu and Julu.  Flights lessons were a big hit and that afternoon, gun lessons from our own distinguished, expert marksman, Chad.  Gaege's good friend, Jackson, was in all all the happenings!
