Finding Christmas

This Christmas was a Christmas of days of celebrations with our children coming home late and children's schedule's being different. But, all said, Christmas was found as you sit around the table and feel the good and the bad as a family and still love. For all that were here, it felt so good to feel you back home in probably the last Christmas we will have on Racquet Club. For those who were not here, we missed you and hope we can start anew tradition next year with Christmas at Springland and all of us together counting our blessings for family and precious memories.

Christmas is not over yet!

Lou and I had another present, today.  Kyle and Gaege coming home to see us.  What a treat to have them here.  Looking forward to Saturday when the whole family will all be together.  It seems that does not happen as much as a Moma thinks it should.  Having Gaege here is like having that little Chadboy back, 25 years ago.  What a treat!

Christmas at Mom's and Dad's still lives on

Christmas at Mom's and Dad's has always been so very special.  This year, as we see Mom keeping the tradition with out POP,  is still so sweet. Thank you Mom, for caring on and making Christmas so magical at 600 North Church.  Thanks to every one for presents and making Family so special.

LET CHRISTMAS BEGIN

Wake up Lou. the kids are coming home!!!!   Christmas Eve started a week of celebration on Racquet Club Drive.  Abby, Patrick, Logan and Slade arrived first.  Then came Rob and his friend, Maria.  After a late lunch and presents, we went to Christmas Eve service and found another gift there,  Mom and Ken.  Today, we are off to a wonderful time at Mom's.  Tomorrow, Gaege and Kyle fly home and Friday night, Lisa and Chad arrive.  Saturaday, we will have another Christmas here at home.  Anyone who wants to come by, the door will be open.
Sunday, we will go to church with family and then directly to airport to send our Maryland folks back home.  Also, we will be celebrating Robert Owen Anderton's, 33rd Birthday.  Monday, back to work with alot of reflecting on another wonderful Christmas and the fact that Our Little Rob is not so little any more.  Happy Birthday, Rob!

Guess who's coming for Dinner ?

Christmas would not seem right if all our children did not make it home for Christmas.  Thankfully, Gaege and Kyle will fly in the day after Christmas and Lisa and Chad will be here Friday night late on the 29th.  We are so thankful that all can be home for Christmas Holidays.  Can't wait to see them!!!!

Wise Guy turns into Wise Man

Behold there came wise men from the east to worship Him.  For they had seen His star.

This was a beautiful night to be reminded of the real meaning of Christmas.  Wise men still seek Him!

November and December at the Guttings

This has been a very busy season for Louis and I.  Some of the things we have been up to will be on the next two blogs.  LOUIS, is right hand man for Wednesday night dinner at church.  As he serves dinner he has been known to be a wise guy with his funny remarks.  I have been working more because one of the Hygienist has been sick.  Our Doctors gave us a nice bonus, put us in limo and sent us shopping one night after work.   My precious daughter, Abby, came and helped me wrap packages one day.  We had kitchen, dining room, bedroom, foyer, hall and playroom painted.  But to top it all off, thanks to Merry's idea, Louis made 6 stars and we delivered them to friends as a gift.  What a busy season.
