Things come to an end

We wraped up the second week of Gaege's summer vacation with Winshape Summer Day camp, more fun at Springland and some final family moments at Racquet Club. Looks like we will be closing July 28th and will have til August 11 to be out. Had not planned such a quick move, but thanks to Hugh's trailer and Mom we want be entirely homeless.

Louis Yager Gutting

" Psalm 92:13 and 14 says, "Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing." My precious husband, Louis Yager Gutting, is having a Birthday today. I want to say that he is the light of my life. He is my Prince Charming, and has showed me how beautiful life can be. He has brought laughter, joy and peace to this home. Each year of his life is a blessing. He is like a fine wine, certainly better with age. It is in his heart that the values lies. Happy Birthday to my wonderful man.

I Just Can't Believe It!!!!!!

Last Sunday, July 13, 2008, my son, Rob, did something that very few golfers accomplished in a life time.  He hit the ball, 190 yards, for a  HOLE-IN-ONE on the 13th hole, at Indian Hills Golf Course.  Way To Go, Rob!   Here is the proof if anyone needs it.  What a moment in a golfers life.  Look out. Tiger.

Grandma's, June bugs, kittens, horses, and friends

There is something to say about spending time with people older than you.  Gaege has learned that you can learn some pretty good stuff from Great grandmothers, Grand mothers and Aunt's.  Like picking blackberries, tying string around a June bugs back leg, always finding kittens in a barn and learning the best way to fall off a horse.  It was a great day for us all and especially nice to hear first hand from Carolyn,  all the happenings the day Mom and Dad married.  They just don't do it that way any more!

A Natural with a Deere

Another full and great day!  Gaege found his great love today. He is a natural with a John Deere.  With a little help from Juju, he very seriously mowed his big square perfectly.  He read a book tonight and then fell into a farmers deep sleep.  We love this boy.

Little Boys

Jackson and Gaege reunited today with alot of just childhood playing.  Our precious neighbors, the Criners, always gives us full privilege of their pool and with the river, bikes and toys, it made for a great summer day.  It ended with a spaghetti dinner with Abby, Patrick and Rob adding to the fun.  You can make the best of the long hot days of summer.
