First night in Memory House

Louis and I took time to set up the cabin with available furniture and a hand crafted bed, designed and built by LYG just for the occasion, and we spend our first night in the newly finished cabin. We kept a fire going all night and tried to stay warm. It was an adventure, but we will bring long handles next time. Don't call yet for reservations until we talk to Steve. He has two heaters that might solve the problem.

Missing grandboys!

Some days you just have a longing to see your grandchildren. Gaege and Kyle are growing so fast and I am afraid their childhood is going to be gone and Louis and I haven't had enough time spent with them. Kyle is busy with sports, school and travels every two weeks. Gaege is into TV, video games, and has just joined the cub scouts. Fingers crossed that we will see them Saturday. Kyle, has made a very important decision to be baptized. We are hoping everyone can be here for that service Saturday night at New Vision Baptist Church.

Look for Chad at the Debate!

I think I may have spotted the top of Chad's head on the 6:00 news when McCain arrived tonight. Keep looking for him during the debate at Belmont. I am hoping that Meredith, who works at Belmont, might get to see him......I really hope that was him and I'm not getting excited about somebody else's white head! HA!!!!

(This post was created by his proud sister...even if that wasn't him!)

Checking out the Kicker

Last night was a lovely night for football in Tennessee, especially if your grandson happens to be the kicker and all around player. Way to go. Kyle! What a field goal!!!!!!

Light at the end of the tunnel

There could be a ray of light giving us hope of completion in the next 2 months. The Memory House is soon to be finished, but Springland is still involved with lots of details. Hopefully we will be in by Thanksgiving. Poor Mom! Things could be smelling alittle fishy before the move.
