As you can see, this is a working farm. The overseer is always on the job and the kitchen help is canning for the winter. What fun!!!!!

Hugh and Natalie's Mountain Home

You better put in your reservation to visit Hugh and Nat in their beautiful mountain top home. Gatlinburg has anything you want to do and The Patton's are wonderful host. We found and explored new roads, went back into the past and visited our old family camping grounds and had a delightful dinner and show at the Dixie Stampede. You have to see this show. Words can not explain such an event. Thank you, Hugh and Nat for having us.

Classroom just about ready

Miss Anderton's 2nd grade classroom is just about ready for 21 lucky students to arrive this Monday morning for a great year. With many hours of love and preparation, Abby has made a beautiful room to grow and learn for this lucky bunch of 7 year olds. It has been a joy to see it come together and watch Abby do what she is so good at. Organization is her speciality. Her heart is ready to love all these children.

The Making of a Classroom

I was asked to come and help Ms. Anderton set up her classroom at Rock Springs Elementary, 2nd grade. What a privilege to watch a full pledge first year teacher prepare her room for 20, 7 year olds. I will blog more pictures when Ms Anderton's room is complete.
