Front Yards

Sometimes, you don't even have to leave home for some pretty amazing stuff to happen. A car to replace my old one was delivered at the drive. An amazing double rainbow arched the sky. Two deer ran across my path while I was mowing and new life is everywhere. Can't wait to see what tomorrow holds. I think we will celebrate a risen Savior!!!!

Another Great Week

Today. was the end of a great week, starting last Sunday with a beautiful and delicious lunch prepared by Chef Felly and her assistant Rob. We had Mom and two wonderful friends of Rob's over to enjoy such a unique lunch. Thank you, Felly, for working so hard to prepare such a great meal. Then because of my car accident, I was able to enjoy a wonderful seven days with our precious Grandson, Gaege. The week was filled with much fun working, playing, reading, orthodontic appointment, new eye glasses, chess games, painting rocks and good night prayers. Today, we got to see Kyle as we sent them both back to Memphis. As Louis said, we are empty nester's and it feels really empty around here. Can't wait till the house is filled with our children, again

Some of the Events of the week

Ms Anderton invited me to talk to 23 precious children during Dental Health week. What a treat this was for an adoring mom to see these kids thrive under my daughters care. Then I had the opportunity to see a precious friend and patient who is 87 and gives me a lot of her secrets on wardrobe and makeup. Louis and I had a delightful meal with Abby, Felly and Rob before Rob and Felly headed out to the Schermerhorn Theater for a symphony. Life is good.

Valentine

Love is shown in many ways, but I have to say when your husband puts balloons on the bed post and your son shows up at the door with flowers, it makes a wife and Mother feel pretty special ! Thank you both for being so thoughtful!

Predators 5 K Run

Rob chanlenged Abby to The Predators 5 K Run and Abby took him on. Only to lose to her brother in a definite defeat. Felly was the photographer and Louis and I were the cheerleaders. The moral of the story is that snow ball fights, building snowmen and riding high on a broom beats strenuous work outs and 10 mile training runs. I am proud of you both!

Louis Yager's Sled

Louis and Gaege got out the old sled, 60 years old, and because of it's love and care all these years, it worked like a charm. Louis even found, he couldn't resist, and took down the hill. One tired boy or may I say, Boys!

Springland in the snow

Last night, we unexpectedly picked up Gaege for the week end. In anticipation for the snow, we went and ran a few errands and got a hair cut for Gaege, this morning. Then, the expected snow hit and we decided to get home fast because road conditions were getting bad. After counting our blessing for not sliding off the road, we enjoyed a wonderful day looking at Springland through the beauty of the snow. Topping it off with snow cream, that Mom and Dad had always made for us, we settle down for a long winters night and thanking God for such a wonderful day and asking God's comfort and mercy for Chad and Lisa as they go visit Lisa's sister who is so seriously ill.
