Cub Scouts Invade Springland

Got a call from Chad yesterday and he and Gaege were coming a day early from Cub Scout camp and bringing 5 more to spend the night. Meeting a wonderful dad, Jonathan, his son, Spencer and 3 more Cub Scouts, Alex, Britian, and Harrison was a real treat. I was immediately instructed to sit down and cover my eyes. Gaege and his friends brought me a welcoming bear who we named, Blackberry. The evening was great with spaghetti supper and a lot of getting to know each other. After enjoying breakfast together and sending all back to Memphis, except Gaege, who is here for 10 day vacation, I am still enjoying the sweetness of a grown son and grandson bringing their wonderful friends to Juju's and Lulu's. This is truly what life is all about! As the field on our road is cut to prepare for winter, also are these wonderful boys and all they are learning through these good father's and the Cub Scouts. It gives us great hope for our future as great father's prepare their sons. What a pleasure to watch these boys relate to the men in their lives.

Well, Juju, you finally got to fill
your home with boys, not exactly all
grandchildren but it was surely a
great experience for you. I know
those little hay bails of the future,
looked great camping out in the
upstairs at Springland. It is good
to have a wonderful night with
family and friends.

...and you, my dear, are the perfect mother/grandmother! No one would have appreciated this day and night more more than you. Your heart is huge.
