After a very full summer, Abby is back in her classroom getting every detail done for her 4th year of teaching precious children. This year will be first graders with unknown potential and possibilities. Have a great year in your classroom, Abby!

Your room looks lovely and just right to excite first graders. As a matter of fact it looks just like my first great room after Miss Mary Lichford got it decorated in 1933. hehe. You take everything out except the seats, which were bolted to the floor in rows and that is what ours looked like. Miss Mary spanked my palm with a ruler because I could not hold my chalk right at the board.
I lived through it and visited her just off I-40 between Lebanon and Carthage just before she died.
